Craig L. Kauffman is a lifelong hunter, author, and conservation advocate whose  dedication to hunting and wildlife stewardship is widely recognized. He has hunted on all six continents and has pursued more than 200 species across the globe, experiences that have shaped both his perspective and his storytelling.

Craig served as president of Safari Club International (SCI) from 2013–2015 and president of Safari Club International Foundation (SCIF) from 2020–2022, providing leadership during pivotal periods  for the organization and the global hunting community. He is currently the host of the SCI First for Hunters Podcast, where he engages fellow hunters, conservationists, and industry leaders in conversations that  celebrate hunting traditions and conservation success.

An  engaging speaker and accomplished storyteller, Craig encourages hunters to venture afield, create meaningful experiences, and share their stories with others. His passion for the sporting life has led him to author two books, along with a broad collection of hunting stories and  editorials published throughout the industry.

Whether through his writing, speaking engagements, or advocacy work, Craig  remains a committed hunter and conservationist who inspires others - and  the next generation - to step into the field and become active stewards of wildlife and wild places.
